Cindy has been a quilter for 42 years. She devoted the first 25 years to hand quilting and the last 17 to machine quilting. She first fell in love with quilts while she was stationed with her family in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina and Virginia and it has been a complete obsession since then!
Cindy enjoys passing on her quilting knowledge through teaching and it is a dream come true for her. She left her full time job in the medical field eight years ago and started teaching nationally for Superior Threads
She has written articles for Quilters Newsletter Magazine, American Quilter, Machine Quilting Unlimited, The Quilter and Machine Quilting. Her book, Wholecloth Linen Quilts, was published six years ago by AQS and featured a wide variety of linen quilts as well as a large selection of her quilting designs. She now self-publishes and sells handbooks as downloads which are available for sale off of her website under the "Handbooks" section.
Cindy has been a guest on Ricky Tims and Alex Anderson's "The Quilt Show" which featured her wholecloth linen quilts.
Cindy was awarded the national Machine Quilting Teacher of the Year award at MQX in April, 2011.
