About Ina Meyer

Ina made her first quilt in 1977 with fabric that was bought at stalls in Empangeni. This quilt did not last very long! During 1978 she did her first patchwork course and made a quilt with “real/proper” fabric. After this she was hooked to quilting

Ina’s work has been exhibited locally and internationally.She has been teaching patchwork and quilting since 1987. She has also judged at the various Quilt Festivals.

Ina served as chairlady of the Good Hope Quilters’ Guild and is currently the chairlady of the Jacaranda Quilters’ Guild in Pretoria. She was on the Festival Committees for the 1994, 2002 and the 2011 Quilt Festivals
