Workshops:
Author, artist and award winning quilter Bonnie McCaffery has been involved in the quilting industry to over 25 years. She has written numerous magazine articles for such publications as $100,000 Quilt Magazine, Quilting Arts Magazine, American Quilters Society Magazine, Quilting International, Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine and Craftworks. She’s been on “Simply Quilts” twice and once on “The Quilt Show”. She has written 3 books – Fantasy Fabrics, Fantasy Floral Quilts, and Portrait Quilts (which is also available as a DVD called “Painted Face for Beginners”).
In 1998 she was awarded the Jewel Pearce Patterson Scholarship Award that sent her to Europe to attend European Quilt Market and International Quilt Expo in Austria (WOW what a trip). This introduced her to international travel and in 2000 she did a 5 week teaching trip to England, Ireland, Scotland, and France. She teaches all over the US and has also taught in Sweden, Denmark, Canada and Curacao (in case your wondering where that is, it’s an island next to Aruba).
Her newest venture is creating videos for the quilt world. Each month she adds an exciting 10-12 minute VidCast to her website. These are free and including interviews with quilting personalities, demonstrations, and quilt shows around the world.
